6 lakh houses, Amrith scheme to be completed by December: CM
Bengaluru, May 6: Putting the construction of houses on fast track, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has instructed the officials to complete construction of a total of 6 lakh houses, including those under the Amrith Scheme, by December.
The Chief Minister chaired a meeting to review the implementation of Budget programmes for the year 2022-23 related to the Housing department on Friday.
Highlights of the meeting:
- Completion of selection of beneficiaries within 3 months.
- DPR to be submitted on priority basis for distribution of sites in various parts of the State.
- Under the multi-storied housing project in Bengaluru 1 lakh houses are being built, of this 20,000 to be completed by December.
- The grants for this project to be released in phases and conditions to be laid before handing over the keys.
