Nominate Mysuru scion Yaduveer Wadiyar as the brand ambassador of Culture and Tourism, urges Gandasi Sadananda Swamy.

Bengaluru, Oct. 1: Considering the great contribution of Mysuru royal family, it is necessary to provide a befitting position to Mysuru scion Yaduveer Krishnadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar, equal to cabinet rank, as a mark of tribute, urged Rashtriya Yuva Parishath president Gandasi Sadananda Swamy.

In a press statement, Mr Gandasi Sadananda Swamy said that Mysuru royal family has a respectable position in the entire nation and its contribution to socio-economic field is immense and unmatchable. He further humbly urged that Yaduveer Krishnadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar be nominated as the Brand Ambassador of Culture and Tourism of the state government with cabinet rank position. The royal scion should be honoured the same during the world renowned Dasara Celebration.

The announcement to this effect should be made, by the Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai, after the Nandi Dhwaja Pooja during the Jamboo Sawari celebrations, he submitted.

Contribution of the royal family to the society is immense and noted among them are in the field of Education, Industries, Irrigation, Water Resources and Administration. The contribution of royal family to make Cultural City Mysuru as the Yoga Capital is also enormous.

Mysuru Kingdom has laid a strong foundation for spreading Education and Yoga and had established an exclusive school for Yoga during the regime of Nalvadi Sri Krishnaraja Wadiyar in 1930. Its contribution is impeccable.

The royal sculpture of Mysuru is an example to the great and grandeur of erstwhile Mysuru kingdom. The kingdom has nurtured the art and culture to many generations. It is the duty of the state government to consider a befitting position to such royal family which has left behind a royal legacy.

Already, a memorandum to consider Mysuru scion Yaduveer Wadiyar as the brand Brand Ambassador of Culture and Tourism of the state has been submitted to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
