Raksha Ramaiah proposed a corpus in the name of slain Naveen Gyanagoudar

Bangalore/March 17: The ongoing battle between Ukraine- Russia has not only claimed precious life of a Kannadiga – Naveen Gyanagoudar, but also has jeopardised the future of thousands of students pursuing medicine and higher education.

In this background, Congress youth leader MS Raksha Ramaiah has assured to set up financial and other support by setting up a corpus in the name of slain Naveen Gyanagoudar, native of Haveri.

Raksha Ramaiah

Raksha Ramaiah met Naveen’s father Shekar Gowda and his family members and offered his condolences. The dream of scores of students becoming doctors has been sort of nipped as the they had to discontinue their studies and return abruptly. Support can be extended those students who are in dire need, he assured.

All necessary arrangements are being made to bring the mortal remains of Naveen. The death of Naveen due to shelling is unbearable. Constructive programmes and activities will be carried out in his name, he reiterared.

He would have served the society as a doctor by treating patients. It is very hard for the family to digest the disastrous news, lamented Ramaiah.
