Bengaluru, April 10: Technology has been growing at lightening speed and so it the communication system. An estimated five trillion messages get exchanged on a daily basis in the globe, said Capgemini Engineering Institute, HR, Senior Director SJ Naganagoudar.
Speaking after presenting the convocation to students at the 18th annual graduation day of Atria Institute of Technology he said that storing the data has turned into a mega challenge. Cloud technology is being extensively used to store the information and this field has a bright future ahead.
Way back in 1995 the field of technology was changing once in three years but now the time has changed and is getting changed for every three weeks. That is the power of technology. Information should be transformed into knowledge to reach peak in the technology field. India is leading in the field of technology and producing 1.4 million engineers every year.
We may have immensely progressed technically but we are far behind in general consciousness. Whatever the situation, whatever the challenges, we can find solutions to many problems when we move forward with a positive attitude- he added.
Dr S Vidyashankar, Chancellor of the Karnataka Open University, Mysore and chief Guest of the day inaugurated the Graduation Day Ceremony and said that after graduation, a new way of life is opened for students. The platform is now ready to learn new technology, new knowledge and there will be new opportunities ahead, and suggested to take advantage of these.
Viviana, who has excelled in Computer Science, Tabyul Ahmed in Information Science, Yuktha in Electronics and Communication, Vanela in MBA and Bharat Jyothi in Mechanical Engineering and Taurik Ahmed in Civil Engineering were honoured.
