Bengaluru, April 5: The young brigade of the JD(S) has been striving tirelessly and relentlessly to bring the JD(S) party to power during the upcoming assembly polls scheduled on May 10. The party has mustered maximum strength with the support of young party workers, said former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy.
Offering floral tribute to Bhagawan Vishwakarma statue at the Sri Vishwakarma Seva Foundation at Basavanagudi on Tuesday Kumaraswamy said that the support of youth has not only given strength and courage to the party but also the will to win the upcoming polls to provide pro-people administration. Youths are instrumental in rooting out corruption and bring the party that always strives for the welfare of the subjects. The contribution of Vishwakarma community youths is immense, he lauded.
The ambience and the political environment is an indication that the JD(S) forms the government with single majority. If voted to power suitable position to the leaders who are striving for the welfare of the community will be considered, he assured.
The service of the community is yeomen to the society. The community through their skills
giving life to lifeless metals and the same is worshipped in every household, he added.
Dr. BM Umesh, State Vice President of JD(S) and working president of Vishwakarma Seva Foundation he called upon the community to work in tandem and not to rest until the party comes to power.
The community presented Kumaraswamy with the statue of Vishwakarma and symbol of JD(S).
President of Seva Foundation retired IAS officer KS Prabhakar, MLC TA Sharavana, Basavanagudi assembly candidate Aramane Shankar, senior leader Bagegowda, Vishwakarma community representatives Vedamurthy, Honnappa Achar, Madhusudan, Balaji, Chandrashekar, Nanjundaswamy and others were present on the occasion.
