Bengaluru, April 6: BJP will undoubtedly emerge as the single largest party and get to power in the upcoming assembly elections, said BL Santosh, National BJP general secretary.
Inaugurating the election office at the Srinivagilu ward in BTM assembly constituency he said that BJP aims to win 125 to 135 seats and form government. Considering the list of candidates of Congress it is a cakewalk for BJP candidates, expressed Mr. Santosh.
People of BTM layout are fed up with the maladministration of incumbent legislator Ramalinga Reddy, he said, and called upon party-brigade to work party victory at neighbouring constituencies like Anekal and Jayanagar.
Due to some silly mistakes BTM Layout slipped out of BJP and these mistakes will be corrected this time, he added.
Bengaluru South Member of Parliament Tejasvi Surya said that BJP has prepared the candidates list and will be announced shortly. Winning horses will be fielded by the BJP.
MLC Gopinath Reddy, Bengaluru BJP South unit President NR Ramesh, BTM Layout assembly ticket aspirant Sridhar Reddy, former corporators Sarsswathamma, Sarala Mahesh, Devadas, BTM Layout Mandal president Rajendra, BTM layout senior leader HK Muttappa and other were present on the occasion.
