Tremendous growth opportunities in healthcare sector

Bengaluru, July 3:

With the governments across the country according utmost importance to the improvement of health systems, opportunities galore in the healthcare sector for the youths, said Naveen Kumar, Special Secretary, Uttar Pradesh. 

Presiding as Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony of the Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management at the the Bangalore South campus of the Institute of Health Management Research in Sunday, Naveen Kumar called upon the students to embrace innovation, compassion, passion, professionalism and develop leadership qualities. 

“These are the prerequisite and essential qualities required to transform healthcare system,” he added. 

In his address, Mayank Rautela, Group CHRO, Care Hospital, emphasized the need to practice effective managerial practices in running the hospitals and healthcare organizations. 

“What needs to be cultivated are meticulous planning, long range vision and strategic approach. Professional competency comes from professional knowledge and the combination of these two leads to excellent leadership qualities,” Mayank Rautela explained. 

Dr Usha Manjunath, Professor and Director of IIHMR greeted the new batch of students. 

Dr Kirti Udayai, Associate Dean, Academics, welcomed the dignitaries and the students. 

In the cultural programme held after the inaugural ceremony, the students exhibited their talent.
