Bengaluru, March 10: Smart TVs were donated to government schools in the Malleswara constituency on Thursday.
Mr Jayaram, Chairperson of IndoMim presented smart TVs on behalf of the company in presence of Dr CN Ashwath Narayan, Minister and MLA of the constituency in a programme held at the government model School, Mattikere. As many as 70 TVs measuring 50 inches were donated to 23 government schools.
Speaking on the occasion, Narayan said, Jayaram has so far donated equipment worth Rs 1 crore including the previously donated tabs and laptops to the schools in the Malleswara constituency.
Government schools in the constituency have been so far given 1,400 tabs and 23 smart boards to facilitate modern and scientific ways of learning. This also ensures that all the government schools in the constituency have become smart, he informed.
Officials of the Education Department were present.
