KREDL signs MoUs with 13 companies at Global Investors’ Meet 2025
78,253 new jobs expected to be created

Bengaluru, Feb. 11: The spotlight was on Karnataka’s renewable energy sector at the Global Investors’ Summit, where Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) inked Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) totaling ₹3.43 lakh crore with 13 leading companies.
During the inauguration of Global Investors Meet on Tuesday, Energy Minister K.J. George presented MoU letters to company heads, marking a significant stride in Karnataka’s commitment to clean energy investments.
Present at the event were KREDL Chairman T.D. Rajegowda, Additional Chief Secretary of the Energy Department Gaurav Gupta, and KREDL Managing Director K.P. Rudrappaiah.
This substantial investment of ₹3,42,925 crore is projected to create 78,253 employment opportunities across Karnataka.
Key investors include:
JSW Neo Energy Limited – ₹56,000 crore
ReNew Pvt. Ltd. – ₹50,000 crore
Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited – ₹50,000 crore
