Here is a good news for Namma Metro commuters. The metro services will be operational from 5 am to 11 pm from all terminal stations, from Monday to Saturday.There is no change in Metro timings on Sundays and trains will start at 7 am. There had been a vociferous demand from commuters, especially, the interstate commuters for metro to begin as early as 5 am to reach home early. Although auto rickshaw facilities were available at Majestic, Market and other satellite stations, they would fleece passengers, said Narendra Kumar, a resident of Ramurthynagar.Running metro from early morning is a welcome move, he added. According to Metro auyhotities, Metro Train services will now commence at 5 am from the Terminal Stations viz. Nagasandra, Silk Institute, Kengeri and Baiyappanahalli on week days (i.e. from Monday to Saturday). There is no change in Metro timings on Sundays and trains will start at 7 am.The last Metro Train service will be available at 11 pm from all the Terminal Stations and at 11.30 pm from Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station, Majestic on all days of the week.
