Free modular organ distribution to physically challenged on October 1

Camp to be held in city; yet another noble cause by Narayan Seva Samsthan.

Bengaluru, Sept 28: Rajasthan-based Narayan Seva Samstha, which is doing the noble service of providing modular organs to the physically abled for nearly four decades, has once again decided to hold an yet another camp in the Silicon city on Sunday, October 1.

This was announced by Vinod Jain, Khubi Lal Meneria, Kaushal Paliwal and Hemanth Meghawal, of Narayana Seva Samstha at a Press Conference on Thursday.

The Sunday camp will be held in Maratha Hostel Grounds.

“In the Sunday camp, more than 250 physically challenged people will be benefitted where artificial limbs will be distributed. Experts and experienced doctors will take part in this noble exercise,” Vinod Jain explained.

According to Vinod Jain, October 1 happens to be the International Senior Citizens Day and hence senior citizens who will come to the camp will be felicitated.

Vinod Jain recalled that as many as 400 physically challenged people had taken part in the July 16 camp.

“At that time we had obtained the measurement of more than 270 physically challenged persons. In October 1 camp, we will give training to walk using plastic organs,” Vinod Jain explained.

These modular artificial limbs have German technology and hence its weight is less and quality-wise superior. “Till now, Narayana Seva Samstha has provided artificial limbs to more than 40,000 physically challenged people free of cost ” says Vinod Jain.

In Karnataka, more than 1000 people are benefitted by the service rendered by Narayana Seva Samstha. “We have been providing free food and snacks to the beneficiaries and their attendants in the camps,” he said.

Explaining the awards that have come to his organization, Vinod Jain said Kailash Manav is the recipient of Padma Sri award while Prashanth Agarwal has been declared as “friend of physically-challenged” award.

“We have also been Organising sports and games, offering tailoring training, and also hold mass marriages on behalf of Narayan Seva Samsthan,” he explained.
