First time voters to be encouraged to vote

Raksha Ramaiah given responsibility to encourage youths

Bengaluru, March 27: With election fever getting heated all the parties have pulled up their socks.

In an attempt to rope in first time voters to participate enthusiastically General Secretary of National Youth Congress MS Raksha Ramaiah has been given the responsibility.

In an official communique released by AICC general secretary and state in-charge Ranadeep Singh Surjewala and Abhishek Dutt stated that first timers should be attracted towards Congress for comprehensive and development of the state and the responsibility has been given to energetic Raksha Ramaiah.

Considering the honest and perseverant efforts of Ramaiah in the capacities of youth congress president, national youth congress general secretary and Andhra Pradesh youth congress in-charge
in roping in fresh voters towards the party Ramaiah has been picked as the right choice.

Reacting on being chosen to shoulder the responsibility, Ramaiah said that as an opposition party it is our responsibility to create awareness among youth especially first time voters about the burning problems like unemployment and inflation
being faced in the state. It is time to bring change in the state.

Election process is a democratic festival which comes once in five years. Youth have to be enciuraged to participate in the festival. Creative and pro-party programmes have been initiated, to encourage youth to come out in larhe numbers and vote, under the leaderahip of KPCC President DK Shivakumar and opposition party leader Siddaramaiah, he added.
