Ambitious Yuva Nidhi scheme will be launched on Jan. 12, 2024
Bengaluru, Dec. 22: Preference must be accorded to local people in providing employment in factories and outsiders should be considered only when technically skilled people are not available locally, said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
Speaking at a meeting with the heads of the factories held in Mysore on Saturday he said that there is no dearth of human resources with professional skills. Locals should not be denied employment opportunities on false grounds, he reiterated.
Factories should be run peacefully. Our government is implementing Yuva Nidhi scheme for unemployed graduates. This scheme will be launched on January 12 coming year. The graduates will be trained by the government, according to the demand for the professional skills needed.
Factories support in increasing GDP growth and development of the state. Families whose land has been acquired for establishment of factories should be considered for employment. New factories are given approval in order to provide employment for the locals. If they do not provide employment, the purpose of the government will not be fulfilled, he added.
Our government is committed and ready to provide necessary facilities and relaxations to industries. Our government is not against industries, CM said.
