Humanity is the silver lining between dark clouds: CM Bommai
Bengaluru. Feb 19: Humanity is like the silver lining between the dark clouds. The world would be more liveable if the people were more humane, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said.
The Chief Minister was speaking after launching the book ‘Kaarmodagala Naduve’, a collection of stories of those who waged a war against Covid 19 when the pandemic was at its peak, brought out by Adamya Chetana.
Humanity should get importance in every aspect. Adversity teaches us the lesson that one can still win amid grief. The fact that the man and cultures have withstood many destructions and risen to stand tall reflects the natural instinct of mankind, Bommai said.
It is heartening to read the stories of many who served selflessly and tirelessly lending a helping hand for the needy during Covid crisis. Society should respond during adversity. Social organisations should be formed for the purpose. Adamya Chetana is like a futuristic social organisation, Bommai said.
Head of Adamya Chetana, Tejaswini Ananth Kumar, WildLife activist Ullas Karanth and others were present.
