Speaking to reporters at his Sadashivanagar residence, he said, “BJP leaders are tweeting false information about investments in Karnataka. They should be ashamed of spreading false information. We will give them proof with documents after the elections.”
Responding to a query on BJP leaders’ tweet that companies are investing in neighbouring states rather than Karnataka, he said, “BJP leaders must state facts. Lakhs of industrialists, businessmen have fled the country due to BJP’s misgovernance in the State. Investors are showing interest in the State once again after the Congress government came to power. Our Industries minister and IT minister are doing an excellent job. The whole country knows that Karnataka is the land of prosperity, progress and peace. The whole world is looking up to Bengaluru and Karnataka.”
Asked about former Prime minister Deve Gowda’s letter to Prajwal Revanna, he said he would not like to comment on the internal matter of a family. Replying to a query on the criticism of inspections carried out by CM and DCM in Bengaluru by former Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai, he said, “Let him criticise. We are for the people and people are there for us.”
