Bengaluru, June 27: A 13-members team from the state of Karnataka (Sports Karate Association of Karnataka) will be representing India for the Korea open International Karate 2nd WCKF World Karate do Championships to be held from June 29th July 3rd at Gijang Gymnasium, Busan, Korea. The competition will be conducted by Korea Karate do Federation and Busan Karate do Federation.
All India Karate Do Federation for the promotion of Karate in India has been imparting training in karate for the past thirty five years in the Country, the sources said.
Over 32 state units in the National body, comprising of recognized styles of Karate. The Federation has brought laurels to India for the past many years at the International level, according to sources.
Renshi Raman Ganesh, Renshi Subramian Chandrasekhar, Renshi E.N.Ramya are also participating in the Veterans Category under the mentoring of Kyoshi PR Ramessh, 8th Dan Black Belt, General Secretary AIKF.
This is a major event and mile stone in the promotion of Karate Sport.
