Bengaluru, April 21: In the wake of PU Examinations, prohibitory orders will be clamped from April 21 to May 18 at all the examination centres across the state, said Education minister BC Nagesh.
The examination will be held from April 22 and the prohibitory orders will be in force from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm.
To ensure that no untoward incidents take place and no exam malpractice is reported, the district administration has clamped prohibitory orders in and around the centres. Accordingly, prohibitory orders will be in force within a 200-metre radius of each centre during the exams. All photocopy centres and cyber cafes should remain closed during the examination.
Around 6.84 lakh students appear for examination at 1000 odd colleges.
