Association of State Road Transport Undertaking (ASRTU) in association with Karnataka State Road Transport corporation( KSRTC) has conducted the standing committee (Technical &Stores) &209 Price Revision sub committee meeting at KSRTC central office on December 16.December under the chairmanship of Mr Anbukkumar, Managing Director KSRTC, Mr Mukul Gandhi, Managing Director Gujarat SRTC, Ms. Nandini Director (personnel &vegilance ), Dr. surya Kiran Executive director ASRTU & Director Central Institute Of Road Transport (CIRT), Sh. RRK Kishore Director ASRTU and other officers were present.
During the meeting the Vendors Directory was released that will benefit All State Road Transport Undertaking in procurement of spare Parts at the most affordable prices.
During the meeting of the Standing committee (Tech. & Stores) various new technology and innovations in vehicle engineering with respect to improvement in oil dispensing units, adhesives tapes for avoiding rooftop leakages in buses, Auxiliary lights for road safety & maintenance practice, Technology regarding anti theft of vehicles were discussed in detail.
The meeting was attended by HODs of various corporations like Andhra pradesh SRTC, Guhjarat SRTC, MSRTC, Telangana SRTC, Tamilnadu STC, KKRTC, BMTC, NWKRTC and other officers of SRTUs.
During the visit, MD Gujrath SRTC and other delegates visited KSRTC Bangalore Central Division Depots, KBS BIS Station and took a look at Namma Cargo Trucks also.
