None can spoil Brand Bengaluru: CM

Bengaluru, March.23: No one can spoil the name of Brand Bengaluru, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

Speaking after inaugurating Dr. Puneer Raj Kumar Multi-Speciality Hospital and dedicating the developed Nayandalli Tank here on Thursday, he said the Brand Bengaluru is world famous, and this city is the fastest growing city among other cities.

But some people are trying to tarnish this image. As many as 5,000 scientists come to Bengaluru daily and over 5000 new vehicles are added every day. There are 400 R&D centers. Seven thousand CC cameras are installed in the state capital under the Safe City Project for the safety of women.

Permission has been accorded for the women employees to work night shifts.
The CM said Bengaluru has been built by Naada Prabhu Kempegowda and they must protect that name. This city brings the highest revenue to the state and a campaign must be launched to protect this brand.

The MLA and Housing Minister V.Somanna has distributed title deeds to over 3 lakh people living in slums and distributed 85000 houses. Plans are afoot to build one lakh houses and nearly five lakh houses are being distributed across the State. The Govindarajanagar has developed a lot and it is not an easy task to improve a part of the city. Along with the basic amenities even the tanks have been improved. This is the double-engine government and the first engine is Somanna. Lots of developments are taking place as the government has executed projects swiftly.

Somanna thanked CM Bommai for making the Govindarajanagar constituency a model constituency and said this is the first time that the CM has visited one constituency more than a dozen times. Now, the constituency has a 515-bed multi-specialty hospital.
Minister Dr.Sudhakar, actor Raghavendra Raj Kumar, Ashwini Puneet Raj Kumar and others were present.
