Bengaluru, March 3: Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, commended the Lions Club for its outstanding contributions to society, particularly in the fields of health, education, and humanitarian service. Speaking as the chief guest at the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Lions Club Sarakki at FKCCI Hall, Bengaluru, he emphasized the organization’s key role in fostering peace and harmony worldwide.

“Lions Club members work selflessly, dedicating their time and resources to service activities. Their humanitarian efforts have made a significant impact, especially during natural disasters,” the Governor noted.
Celebrating 50 years of service, Lions Club Sarakki has transformed countless lives through initiatives in education, healthcare, and social welfare. Notably, the club has been running an autism center for the past 20 years, providing essential training to children with special needs. “From supporting underprivileged students to environmental conservation, Lions Club Sarakki has played a vital role in community development,” he added.

The event was attended by Lion Pankaj Mehta, International Director of Lions Club International, P.K. Naveen, President of Lions Club Sarakki, and other distinguished dignitaries.
