Bengaluru, April 19: Jhatka Cut Hindavi Mart Meats at Ullal in the city was in news during Ugadi is hitting headlines yet again.
The BBMP has slapped notice to the owner of the Jhatka Cut Hindavi Mart Meats for selling meat and doing business without obtaining a trade licence. BBMP Assistant Director of Animal Husbandry issued the notice to the shop owner. Further, the officials have given a week’s time to the proprietor of the meat shop to get his licence in order.
It may be recalled that the Sangh Parivar activists had created noise about halal cut meat and promoted sales of jhatka cut meat.
Jhatka Cut Hindavi Mart Meats outlets were set up at Indira Nagar, Bannerghatta and Jnana Bharathi and sales of jhatka cut meats against the halal cut meats.
