Bengaluru: The Commissioner, Department of Collegiate and Technical Education (DCTE) has made a submission to the Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Higher Education to postpone degree semester examinations by one month.
In his letter to the ACS, P.Pradeep, The Commissioner, DCTE, has said, “Due to CORONA third wave and demonstration by guest lecturers the teaching of syllabi has not been completed. But some of the universities have scheduled the timetable for examinations. Since, the teaching of syllabi needs to be completed, postponing examinations by one month will help the students to prepare in a better way.”
Citing the above reasons he has made a plea for ACS, Dept. of Higher Education to pass a direction for universities postponing examinations by one month.
