Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has appealed to Pro-Kannada outfits to withdraw their call for a Karnataka Bundh on December 31.
Speaking to media persons after attending the BJP Executive meeting he said, strong action has been taken against MES activists who indulged in vandalism in Belagavi. Legal provisions would be examined to ban MES.
Karnataka bundh is not appropriate, bunch is not a solution for the problems, Bommai said and appealed to drop the bundh call in the backdrop of rising Covid spread.
Meanwhile, different factions of pro-kannada seems to be going in different way. In all likelihood, bandh may get fizzled out.
