Bengaluru, Nov. 16: Bangalore Electricity Supply Company has rectified the technical glitches found in electricity billing generated on November 1 and enabled the consumers to make the online payment with immediate effect.
Soon after technical glitches found in physical billing generated on November 1, the same has been rectified in the systems on November 2. Consumers are allowed to make online payment flawlessly, said BESCOM MD, Mahantesh Bilagi.
During the transition of change of service from Infosys to Infinite Computer Solutions the technical glitches found, the same has been rectified in the backend. Though the printed bill shows a higher amount, the actual amount is reflected in the systems, he clarified.
“We have immediately addressed the billing errors and enabled the consumer to make the online payment. Consumers need not to worry about the online mode of payment of their electricity bills”, BESCOM MD added.
