Bengaluru: The services of BDA which are currently not included in ‘Janasevaka’ (a programme to deliver 79 citizen services at the doorstep of people) will be brought into it’s ambit, Dr.C.N.Ashwatha Narayana, Minister and MLA of Malleshwara, said on Saturday.
Speaking after symbolically distributing various services to 30 citizens in a programme organised at Sangolli Rayanna Park in Subramanyanagara to create extensive awareness about the initiative among people of the constituency, he told, that he would discuss this with Chief Minister soon.
“As a part of the programme handbooks will be distributed to every household of all the seven wards of the constituency. The booklet has the list of all 79 citizen services belonging to 9 departments, contact numbers of officials & janasevaks needed to be contacted to avail the specified services, government fee prescribed for particular service, and janasevak fee that will be charged. It also informs the time needed to deliver the corresponding service”, Narayana explained.
He also told, “If the concerned official/janasevak is contacted on call to avail the service concerned, he/she will come to the doorstep and further the process. This will remove dependency on middlemen to get the services done, save time, energy, and unnecessary money spent in the form of corruption. The prescribed fee should be remitted only through digital payment mode to ensure transparency and services will be delivered between a span of 1 day to 21 days.”
Adhar card related services, Arogya Heath Card, Biometric, Income & Caste certificate are a few among others which will be delivered. At Songolli Rayanna’ park 79 booths were installed for 79 services and people who were enthusiastic mood were seen inquiring about services they want to avail.
B.N.Varaprasada Reddy, Project Director, E-Governance, and other officials were present.
