BBMP chief Gaurav Gupta tests positive for Covid-19

After the BBMP Chief Health Officer (CHO) Balasundar and BBMP Special Commissioner (Health) Trilok Chandra, the BBMP Chief Commissioner Gaurav Gupta tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday.
Mr. Gupta has shown mild symptoms and has been isolated at home as per medical advice. Thankful that I was able to avoid Covid-19 so far.
Request all those who came in contact with me recently to remain watchful and test if needed, his twitter handle said.
Being the chief commissioner, he was at the helm of power to take necessary decisions and control Covid in the city.
Actually, Mr. Gupta ensured that he was not affected with Covid. He actually followed what he preached. He wore mask all the time and although he could not have avoided crowded places being in responsible position, he took necessary precautions.
