Are Mr. Ashok and Mr. Bommai turning out to be super spreaders is the question that is arising?

Yes, Bengaluru Express reported on January 7th that soon after Mr. Ashok was tested positive for Covid-19 it was necessary for entire cabinet ministers be quarantined as they had come in contact with him during the cabinet meet and a series of Covid related meetings held with officials and ministers.

Earlier in the day, Mr. Bommai inaugurated the booster dose administration for frontline workers and senior citizens with comorbidity at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical College and Research Institute along with Health Minister K Sudhakar and others. He also paid his final homage to noted litterateur Chandrashekar Patil who passed way today.

He also held a meeting with former vice-chancellors and chaired a discussion on administrative reforms with senior officials.

Now, it is imperative for the health officials to track and trace who came in contact with Mr. Bommai. Mr. Sudhakar needs to be quarantined for tested for Covid to take necessary precautions.
