Bengaluru, Feb 14: Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar today said that he would continue his legal battle as Lokayukta today filed an FIR in the disproportionate assets case.
Speaking to reporters at Vidhana Soudha, he said, “I haven’t done anything wrong. The then Advocate General had told me that my case can’t be handed over to the CBI. I have taken the information through an RTI. Yediyurappa handing over the case to the CBI was wrong. Hence, our government has taken the permission given to CBI and handed over the case to the Lokayukta.”
Notices from CBI
“I don’t understand why the CBI has been giving notices to my institutions and my acquaintances even after the State government withdrew permission to the CBI.”
