Eve of Rajat Jayanti of Kargil Vijay Diwas
Bengaluru, July 16: On the eve of Rajat Jayanti of Kargil Vijay Diwas (26th July 1999), the National Flag of India, which had been flying high in Kargil, was brought to Karnataka in a special car to be displayed across all schools and colleges of the state.
It was a proud and momentous occasion as the flag’s journey in Karnataka began at our institution. We were honoured to welcome the Indian Flag from Kargil to our APS Group of Institutions at 1:30 PM on our APS Grounds. Over 4,000 students, filled with Great Spirit, assembled to show and feel the patriotism. The flag was received with great pomp and pride, igniting a sense of immense patriotism in all of us. Being born in India is a blessing, and we extend a heartfelt salute to the Indian Army. It was an unforgettable and exhilarating moment!
The special car that carried the flag also exhibited events from the Kargil War. The mobile exhibition showcased pictures of the celebrations following the war’s victory, portraits of the warriors, and the weapons used during the war.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Shri Chakravarti Sulibele for initiating this effort, elevating the emotional patriotic feelings of every Indian towards our soldiers.
CA Dr. Vishnu Bharath Alampalli, speaking at the event, encouraged the young students—the future of tomorrow’s India—to grow like a banyan tree and contribute to this great nation in every possible way.
We salute the Indian Army.
