Haveri (Shiggaon), May. 08: The current election is fought between development of the BJP and the divide and rule policy of the Congress Party, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Addressing the campaign in Shiggaon Constituency here on Monday, he said the election is not conducted by him but the people are doing it voluntarily. A festive atmosphere is prevailing in every village.
The enthusiasm among the women voters and their support has filled his heart. The strength given by them in the 2018 Assembly polls was very big. With their blessings, he became the MLA, minister and the CM. The May 10 election will be a battle between the development of the BJP and the divide and rule policy of the Congress Party. The coalition government didn’t perform well. But the subsequent BJP government did a lot of development.
“We effectively handled the Covid situation, distributed a relief of Rs 5 lakh per family that lost house and Rs 5 lakh grant for the construction of a variety of houses. The building of 300 new classrooms is in progress in his constituency. The BJP government will get an absolute majority and form the next government.
