Governor has been made to utter lies: Bommai
Bengaluru, Feb. 12: Former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai accused the incumbent Congress government of claiming the world of the previous BJP regime as it’s achivements.
Reacting to the Governor’s address to the joint session of the State Legislature here on Monday, he termed the address as disappointing and bland and had never heard such a lackluster speech so far. The lack of development of the current government shows the present anti-people government. The speech don’t mention any of the achivements of the present government. The works of the previous government had been shown as the achievements of the Congress government.
Bommai said the Jal Jeevan Mission,
Houses for poor and the Jayadeva Hospital which had been the schemes of the BJP government, had been shown as their contribution. The government claimed to have spent RS 10000 crore on irrigation schemes in the last eight months and they must share details of the money spent on every scheme. The Congress Party was trying to pay its own back. The Congress legislators were unable to move out in their constituencies. They would tell the real achievements of the government. The drought relief money hasn’t been released and they said the money was in the DC account. The governor has been made to utter lies.
replying to the allegations that the funds from the centre hasn’t come, Bommai said it would be discussed in the current session. They have the documents to prove the funds received during the UPA tenure and from the NDA Government. Several central government programs such as Ayushman Bharat and Jal Jeevan Mission have been in motion.
He said the Construction treats all the religions equally but the Congress government had been appeasing a particular community
