Bengaluru, June 7: A terrorist has been arrested in Bengaluru. State government would provide necessary assistance to Jammu and Kashmir Police, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said.
Speaking to media persons Bommai said, the security forces keep a watch on the movements of suspicious elements. It is a routine exercise for them. Such arrests have been made in the past too in Bhatkal, Sirsi and other places. Necessary assistance would be provided to J & K Police in their hunt for such elements.
2A reservation for Panchamasali community
Reacting to Kudalasangama Peetha Seer Basava Jaya Mruthyunjaya Swamiji’s letter on reservation for Lingayat Panchamasali community under the 2A category, Bommai said, “he is our Seer. It is not a problem. We are in constant contact with him. We have discussed the issue with prominent leaders of the community. We will discuss the issue again with the Seer in the next 2-3 days.”
