In the wake of spike in Covid-19 and Omicron cases in the state, the state government is condidering tough rules a lonv term plan to combat the virus after holding a discussion with Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), experts and cabinet colleagues, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bomnai.
Speaking to mediapersons at his residence on Monday mirning he said that following thd rise in cases in the state and neighbouring states strict measures are need of the hour. TAC meeting will be held on Tuesday evening and discuss long term measures to contain the super spreading virus.
“We have experience of handling two waves in the past and based on our experience long term plan will be drawn without affecting the general public,” he assured.
Cabinet colleagues would spell out the situation across the state and necessary containment meadures will be discussed at length, added Mr. Bommai.
Vaccination shield to kids:
Beginning from today, January 3, vaccination drive will be taken up like a campaign to provide (suraksha chakra)
protective shield to children.
Vaccination drive will be flagged off today and cooperation from parents, children and health workers has been sought already.
The public must co-operate and impose delf restriction like compulsorily wearing mask, frequent sanitising and maintaining social distance.
