Bengaluru, July 25: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will launch two Kannada novels ‘Purushothamayana’ authored by Purushotham Das Hegde on Saturday
at KRDCL auditorium opposite to Orion Mall.
The author Purushotham Das Hegde is an Engineer by profession and a writer by passion.
Purushothama Das Hegde aims to remove misgivings and lies from the Ramayan and has projected realistic aspects with a scientific point of view.
“The yet to be released novel is expected to unravel the inner aspects of Ramayan,” the author revealed.
He further said that the novel also highlights the struggle of the natives for land, migrants plan to suppress Ravana and choosing of Rama to annihilate Ravana.
“The proposed novel highlights Rama’s dilemma, helplessness, ahimsa policy of Sita and other social aspects. Since it is not possible to provide documentary evidence, the novel, however, has been written close to reality,” the author explains.
The programme will be decided over by thinker Dr E. Ramakrishna, Sri Siddaramanandapuri Swamiji of Kaginele Mutt in Deodurga taluk.
PWD Minister Satish Jarkiholi, former minister H.M.Revanna, Principal Secretary Dr S. Selvage Kumar, Secretary C. Satyanarayana will grace the occasion.
Thinker Purushothama Bilimale will introduce the books to the people.
