Bengaluru; Pro-Kannada organizations have launched a new protest in front of the offices of the Commissioners of the Minority Department and School Education Departments, who have not taken action against Saamar International School, which is defying the law of the land. They have also decided to organize a movement to honor the officials who are protecting the school administration.
Speaking at a press conference, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike leader Surya Adiga Srinivas said that we will continue to question whether bribery is needed to implement the High Court verdict and honor the officials who are the backbone of the unauthorized school until the court order is complied with.
The residential school of this administration does not have government permission. A criminal case should be filed against the school principal Arshad Mukhtar, who has received Rs 5 lakh by creating fake documents. Jamia Muhammadiyah Mansoora, Jamia Muhammadiyah Society, Al Jamia Muhammadiyah Education Society, which have
received money from the Minority Department to run a madrasa, are not registered in any state of the country. Despite this, in 2017, the Minority Department had sanctioned Rs 10 lakh and released Rs 5 lakh. When this was questioned, the High Court’s order to take action on September 24 was not being followed. On May 30, the recognition of this school from classes 1 to 10 was cancelled. The management board had challenged this and brought a stay order for a month. The High Court’s order to take action within four months on July 29 is also not being followed. He said this highlights the gross negligence of the administration and its favoritism towards unauthorized institutions.
