Bengaluru, April 2: Deputy Commissioners and SPs in all the districts have been instructed to take necessary measures to ensure peaceful celebration of ‘Hosathodaku’. Festivals should be celebrated without any disruption in law and order, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said.
Replying to a question from media persons about campaign by some pro-Hindu outfits against Halal meat, Bommai said, officials have been instructed to hold peace meetings in their areas to ensure peaceful celebration of the festival.
