Bengaluru, July 12: One artist who was acclaimed for her command over Kannada language and proficiency in holding the large audience
together popular Kannada TV presenter Aparna died on Thursday after suffering from cancer briefly.
Aparna is recognized not only through narration but also through acting. He became famous by acting in movies and serials. No metro commuters can miss her voice as it constantly says ….”Next stop is….”
Aparna narrated many programs on Chandana Vahini. Later, he also worked as a radio jockey for the Government of India’s ‘Vividha Bharati’.
Aparna is also a househd name as she acted in TV serials like ‘Moodalmane’, ‘Mukta’. He participated in the first season of Bigg Boss Kannada in 2013. In 2015, Aparna played the role of Varalakshmi in the program ‘Maja Talkies’ which is directed and produced by Srujan Lokesh.
Aparna forayed into the film industry through the movie ‘Masanada Phuva’ directed by Puttanna Kanagal. The movie ‘Grey Games’, in which he last acted, released recently.
