MP Basavaraj Bommai congratulates newly re-elected Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla

New Delhi, June 27:
Former Chief Minister and MP Basavaraj Bommai congratulated Om Birla on his re-election as the Speaker of the 18th Lok Sabha.

In a post on X, Bommai expressed his heartfelt congratulations and confidence that under Om Birla’s leadership, parliamentary proceedings would run smoothly over the next five years. He believes Birla will ensure discussions focused on comprehensive development while upholding the integrity and unity of the nation.

Bommai also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and NDA leaders for electing Om Birla as the Speaker.
