Bengaluru, April 29:
Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan has stepped forward to appeal to corporate companies through formal letters, seeking support from their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) funds for the treatment of Keerthana, the daughter of Nagashree and Kishore from Mysuru, who is suffering from a hereditary illness.
Keerthana’s treatment requires Rs. 16 crore, out of which Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan has already contributed Rs. 25 lakh. To mobilize further support, the minister has decided to personally meet corporate heads and request their assistance.
On Thursday, he met Ziaullah Sharif, the owner of India Builders, and submitted an appeal letter. Responding positively to the minister’s request, Sharif assured as much support as possible.
