Bengaluru, Sept. 20: Dr. CN Ashwath Narayan, Minister for Skill Development and Higher Education has instructed Diploma colleges in the state to observe convocation day on December 4th as a mark of respect to Nalwadi krishnaraja Wadeyar.
He had written a letter to the Principal Secretary of Higher Education Department regarding this.
The kings of the Yaduvamsha, who ruled the Mysore dynasty for over 5 centuries have contributed greatly to the development of the state. Specially, Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadeyar has contributed immensely for the state’s educational and industrial progress. Considering this, it will be appropriate to conduct the convocation on December 4th, the day on which Krishnaraja Wadeyar was coronated, Minister has felt.
