Minister George inaugurates new office to implement Guarantee schemes and other developmental Initiatives

Bengaluru, April 4: Energy Minister and MLA K.J. George inaugurated a new office in Sarvagnanagar assembly constituency that efficiently implements infrastructure development and guarantee schemes.

As Sarvagnanagar rapidly develops, Minister K.J. George has strongly emphasised improving infrastructure and initiated Bhoomi Puja for several public welfare projects. With the constituency expanding, he is leveraging public-centred initiatives to enhance the community’s living standards.

On Thursday, the minister conducted a groundbreaking ceremony to construct a 300 mm diameter drainage system as part of the second phase of the Gandhinagar development project. Local residents voiced their concerns during the event, particularly regarding drinking water supply issues. Minister K.J. George gathered information from the concerned officials and instructed them to address the water supply problem promptly.

Inauguration of the Guarantee Scheme Implementation Committee Office

Minister K.J. George officially inaugurated the Guarantee Scheme Implementation Committee office in Kacharakanhalli, Sarvagnanagar constituency. The government has established various committees to ensure the successful execution of the state’s Guarantee Schemes aimed at the overall development of the people. The new office for the Kacharakanhalli committee was inaugurated on Thursday, with H.M. Revanna, Chairman of the State Guarantee Scheme Implementation Committee, and committee President Murali in attendance.

Support for Self-Sufficiency: Distribution of Plough Machines

In Vinobha Nagar, K.G. Halli, Minister K.J. George distributed plough machines to 35 women engaged in social work as part of an economic empowerment initiative by the Maitri Sarva Seva Organization and United Way. The distribution aims to enhance these women’s self-sufficiency. During the event, the minister also attended a Bharatanatyam performance and extended his best wishes to the children for success.

Condolences to the Families of Senior Congress Leaders

Minister K.J. George visited the families of two late senior Congress leaders during his busy schedule to offer his condolences. He visited the residence of the late Keshavan, a respected Congress leader from Gandhinagar, honouring his significant contributions to the party. The minister also visited the home of the late Muniswamy, another prominent Congress leader from Kadugondanahalli, to extend his sympathies to the family.

Para-Athlete Expresses Gratitude to Minister K.J. George for His Support

Para-athlete Balaram B expressed his sincere gratitude to Minister K.J. George for his crucial support in helping him achieve success on the international sports stage. Balaram, a resident of Jeevanahalli in the Sarvajnagar constituency, won a medal at the First Asian Para-Throwball Championship. During his preparations, he required financial assistance for his trip to Cambodia. Upon contacting Minister K.J. George, the minister promptly provided the necessary support. Motivated by the minister’s encouragement, Balaram and fellow athletes Sharannya Salimath, Manjula, and Renuka travelled to Cambodia and achieved remarkable success.

On Thursday, Balaram met with Minister K.J. George to thank him personally. The minister congratulated the athlete and wished him further success, honouring him by placing a medal around his neck.

The event was attended by leaders from the Sarvajnagar constituency and supporters of Minister K.J. George.
