Metro commuters had unlimited joy when Namma Metro extended the metro operations time and its frequency. But, the joy did not last long.
Thanks to Covid 19 variant Omicron, which is spreading like wildfire.
The state government has clamped night curfew for 10 days with effect from December 28. The night curfew will be on until January 7.
The curfew will be imposed in Bengaluru between 10 pm and 5 am. Hence, metro has reduced the frequency of the metro post 10 pm.
