Bengaluru, Oct 8: Calling the incident of hurling shoe on the Chief Justice of India as wrong, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar today said everyone must condemn the display of adharma in the court of law.
Speaking to reporters at his Sadashivanagar residence, he said, “The Chief Justice of India has sought no action against the culprit, but a suo moto case must be registered and strong action must be taken,” he said.
Big Boss bundh: They must find a solution
“I am the one who inaugurated the Jollywood studio where Big Boss programme is held. I have gathered information from the DC on what has transpired there. I have told them to work out a solution,” he said.
“The Pollution Control Board had issued a notice to Jollywood studio accusing it of not complying with environmental rules. The officials have seized the place as per the law. I learnt about this from the media,” he added.
Asked about Kumaraswamy’s post on platform X about ‘tightening the nuts and bolts’, he said, “Let him do whatever he wants to. He can do it himself or can get it done from someone else. Kumaraswamy and JDS are doing politics. He won’t feel at home if he doesn’t take my name on a daily basis.”
Lal Bagh won’t be affected
Asked if La Bagh would be disfigured due to the tunnel road project, he said, “Lal Bagh won’t be affected in any way due to the tunnel road project. Lal Bagh is a historical place and we understand the importance. I will inspect Lal Bagh next Monday along with the officials. Let there be no worry on this.”
Asked about Cabinet expansion, he said he wasn’t aware of it.
