Haveri, June 5: Former CM and newly elected MP of Haveri Gadag constituency, Basavaraj Bommai, stated that the Haveri Gadag constituency will be developed as a model constituency.

Speaking to the public after participating in a grand procession in Haveri following an unprecedented victory in the Lok Sabha elections, he expressed his gratitude, saying, “I bow down to the people of Haveri Gadag districts who are the reason for my victory. I have achieved this victory with the blessings of the people.”

He mentioned that there are already messages indicating that Narendra Modi will be made Prime Minister once again. “After returning from Delhi, let’s hold a grand procession. I will work in a manner that justifies the trust you have placed in me. I will work to protect women,” he said.

He acknowledged that Congress might be in power in the state but asserted that “we have the people’s power. When there is a conflict between people’s power and political power, people’s power will win. If officials do not work according to the law, we will not remain silent. If our workers are harassed unnecessarily, we will not stay quiet,” he warned.

He expressed his heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President J.P. Nadda, and former Chief Ministers B.S. Yediyurappa and others for entrusting him with the ticket.
