The Governor was addressing a gathering during the inauguration of the Pujya Shree Kshamadev and Shree Guruman Dev Temple at Tapobhumi Kabirdham, Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, coinciding with the birth anniversary of National Saint Gurudev Shree Asang Dev. Shri Gehlot praised Saint Kabir’s efforts to combat societal evils and promote social equality and harmony through his writings and actions.
“Greatness is achieved not by birth, but by one’s deeds,” Governor Gehlot emphasized. “Kabir Das believed in the inherent equality of all human beings. He urged us to live by the righteous path he prescribed, dedicating ourselves to social and human service.”
The Governor also acknowledged the transformative work being carried out at the Tapobhumi Ashram, noting that more than 150 Kabir Panthi saints are being educated under Gurudev’s guidance. He commended National Saint Sri Asang Saheb for his efforts in promoting Kabir’s teachings, particularly in fostering social equality and combating addiction. Gurudev’s satsangs, conducted across villages and cities, have touched millions of lives both in India and abroad.
The event was graced by other notable dignitaries, including Sant Shri Asang Saheb, who were in attendance to celebrate this momentous occasion.
