Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, undertook a spiritual pilgrimage to the revered Sri Anjaneya Swami Temple at Anjanadri in Gangavathi Taluk, Koppal district, on Wednesday, accompanied by his family members.
Demonstrating impressive energy and devotion, the Governor ascended the 575 steps leading to the hilltop shrine — believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman — completing the climb in just 30 minutes. After offering special prayers and having darshan of Shri Anjaneya Swamy, the Governor descended the hill in 20 minutes.

The Governor’s visit underscored his reverence for Karnataka’s cultural and spiritual traditions, inspiring others with his commitment and vitality.
Koppal District Collector Shri Suresh B. Itnal, Zilla Panchayat CEO Shri Varnit Negi, District Superintendent of Police Dr. Ram L. Arasiddi, and other senior officials were present on the occasion to facilitate the visit.
