Bengaluru, Feb. 5: In a dignified ceremony held at the Glass House of Raj Bhavan, the Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, administered the oath of office to the newly appointed State Chief Information Commissioner and seven State Information Commissioners.
Retired IPS officer Ashit Mohan Prasad took the oath as the State Chief Information Commissioner. Along with him, the following distinguished individuals took the oath as State Information Commissioners: Raman K., Dr. Harish Kumar, Rudranna Harthikote, Narayan G. Channal, Rajashekara S., Badruddin K., and Dr. Mamatha B.R., retired IAS.
The Governor extended his best wishes to the new appointees as they embark on their crucial roles in promoting transparency and accountability within the state.
DCM D.K. Shivakumar, Govt Chief Secretary Shalini Rajaneesh and other dignitaries were present.
