Kannada Rajyotsava Celebrated by GBA

Bengaluru, Nov. 1:
To ensure better services for the citizens of Bengaluru, the Greater Bengaluru Authority has been formed, establishing five new city corporations, said Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao.
Speaking after hoisting the national flag and offering floral tributes to “Nadadevi Bhuvaneshwari” on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations held at the GBA premises, he said this marks the first Kannada Rajyotsava celebration since the formation of the GBA. “We must all come together and celebrate this day in a festive spirit,” he added.
He stated that the GBA, in coordination with the five city corporations, aims to provide efficient and citizen-centric governance. Urging officials and staff to work actively and deliver quality public service, he said, “We must ensure that next year’s Kannada Rajyotsava is celebrated in a grand and festive manner, with the participation of children and families.”
The event was attended by former Mayor Huchappa, Central City Corporation Commissioner Rajendra Cholan, Special Commissioner Dr. K. Harish Kumar, Deputy Commissioners Ravindra and Sharanappa, Joint Commissioners Hemant, Ranganath, and Lakshmidevi, Assistant Commissioner Girish Nandan, and several other officials.
