Dubai, Nov 27: Dozens of skill-based companies in the UAE, particularly from Dubai, have expressed interest in participating in the upcoming Bangalore International Job Fair scheduled for January–February 2026.

Companies from sectors such as transportation, human resources technology, soft services, media technology, gaming, real estate, energy, and allied health sciences showed strong interest during the Dubai roadshow led by Karnataka’s Minister for Skill Development and Medical Education Dr. Sharanaprakash R. Patil and Higher Education Minister Dr. M.C. Sudhakar on Thursday.

Highlighting Karnataka’s strengths in education and skilled manpower, the ministers invited global companies to recruit youth from the state. “Our graduates are industry-ready, equipped with hands-on training through state-run programs,” said Dr. Patil, urging Dubai-based employers to explore Karnataka’s talent pool.

Dr. Sudhakar emphasized the state’s leadership in technical education and modern skill development. “Karnataka’s approach to technical training is the best in India. Our students are equipped with IT and AI skills that meet global standards,” he stated.

As part of their Dubai engagement, both ministers participated in panel discussions on Climate Action, Renewable Energy, and Sustainability as well as Global Skill Exchange in the Era of Digitalisation and Sustainability. These sessions showcased Karnataka’s growing potential as a global hub for skilled talent.
