Workshop with German Delegation on Skill Exchange

Düsseldorf, July 4: The delegation led by Dr. Sharanaprakash R. Patil, minister for medical education, skill development, entrepreneurship, livelihood and Raichur District in-charge, who is currently on a tour of Germany, successfully completed the second day of its engagements.
The Minister’s delegation held discussions in Düsseldorf on institutional and state-level cooperation.
Visit to a Vocational School in Düsseldorf:
The delegation held comprehensive discussions on aligning Karnataka’s technical training curriculum with the German model, initiating teacher exchange programmes, and launching joint operations between Karnataka-run Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC) and HHBK (Hans-Böckler-Berufskolleg).
Dr. Patil formally proposed a structured skilled migration corridor with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). On the same occasion, the minister urged for focused collaboration on language preparedness, employment opportunities and youth safety.
Minister Dr. Patil underlined the need to take a significant step toward building a long-term partnership between Karnataka and North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) in the areas of training, employment, and academic mobility.
